Life Before TJ:

I am a Denver native and a product of Denver Public Schools. I graduated from Denver West High School in 1996 and went on to study engineering at the University of Colorado at Denver, however after 4 years or so I decided that it wasn't for me and that my passion was teaching so I changed my major to Education. I previously taught at Denver West for 7 1/2 years. I am now in my fifth year of teaching at TJ and I am proud to be a part of the Spartan family! I am married and we had our first child, Benjamin in May 2015 and we just had our second child Ava in May 2017. We also have a puppy, Jedi, who also keeps us pretty busy and entertained. I like to travel, watch sports, and spend time with my family. We have traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Oahu, and Riviera Maya respectively in the last seven years. I am a huge Denver Bronco fan and New York Yankee fan, however I do enjoy watching the Colorado Rockies as well.

My goal as a teacher is to provide the support and knowledge that is needed to understand mathematics. I enjoy helping students be successful in everything they do.
